Who am I?

Hi there, I'm Matthew Hill, a photographer based in South Wales. I’ve been passionate about photography for many years, beginning with aviation before finding my true love in wildlife photography.

I now travel far and wide for my photography, to many of my favourite places both in the UK and overseas. I adore exploring Wales, from the rugged mountains down to the beautiful coastline and I have a real passion for this country, in particular The Brecon Beacons.

Although I enjoy photographing all subjects my passion is wildlife. I shoot with a Canon R5 II, most often paired with the RF100-500mm L lens for wildlife, and occasionally the RF100mm F2.8 for macro photography. I'm always looking for the next opportunity to explore the natural world through my lens.

I am very happy with my progress so far and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
